For Your Horse

Our purpose is to create the best and healthiest versions of our horses, from the arena to the coral.

To make a great horse, you have to understand what goes into a horse's health and demeanor.

With that in mind, we have established what we deem the key factors in creating a great horse!

Nutrition & Supplementation

Supporting our horses internal functions is a huge step in asking them to support our dreams. They need the right nutrients in order to perform properly, and their behavior is affected by what they eat and how they live.

Domestic horses today live a much different life with a much different diet than wild horses do and were intended to. This causes a slurry of issues followed by medical interventions, that could be better prevented through a supportive diet.

A horses nutrition is connected to all things, their behavior, their performance, their conformation, hoof health, aesthetic appeal, digestive health. ALL THINGS. Nutrition and supplementation (when needed) is like a rabbit hole, the more we dig - the more we find. This can make it overwhelming to read and apply feed labels and nutrition tests to your horse, and each different horse. Together we will discuss your concerns, where your horse is at, and your goal for them (and you). I will design you a plan fitted to your horse that you can discuss with your vet.

Tack and Equipment

Just as we don't want to wear a shoe in the wrong size our horses don't want to wear a saddle in the wrong size.

We are specific in the way our clothes fit us, the way we find comfort in them, and materials they are made from. We must apply the same care into what our horses wear to perform their jobs.

Our tack acts as the middleman between us and our horse in communicating. In order to make that transition as smooth and simple as possible, finding the right tack in the right size is imperative. In addition to that, different jobs or classes will require a specific configuration or type of equipment. We will look at your goals, your horse's specifications, and your budget to determine the right equipment for both of you and where to find it.

Training & Tune Ups

A major portion of a horse's wellbeing is dependent on how they are treated and what they understand. What they understand is dependent on what they've been taught.

Every horse deserves to have a training or second start that is specific to their needs. I believe that each horse should be given a fair shot at their chance to succeed.

Each horse is a puzzle, coming from a different background with different genetics and different abilities. Not every horse has the ability to succeed in our goals, but any horse wanted for more than a pasture ornament deserves to have their puzzle solved. I believe that training or tune ups are typically a tunnel vision ordeal and don't look into the bigger picture. Together we will look into nutrition, background & goals, tack, and create a training/lifestyle plan that you approve,  I will complete my part of the plan as we see best fitting.

Event Assistance

Whether you're at a show, a rodeo, a futurity, or anything in between and of the sorts, you know what a blur the day will be. Especially if you have multiple horses and multiple events, forget feeling prepared.

Add warming up, tack changes, managing resting horses, and schedule changes? It can turn into chaos pretty quickly. That doesn't leave you calm and focused for your next event or send good vibes to your current mount.

In a time where we should feel collected and focused, our environment can truly get the best of us and make us feel overwhelmed. In a scene where we want to best show off our abilities and our horse's magnificence, it is not conducive to feeling frazzled. You deserve to give each horse your full attention and best try. Together, we will determine a plan of how I can best support you by being the extra hands you always wish for.
